Their plans are dirt cheap, phones are arguably some of the best, coverage is great, so what's to talk about?
Well, it is a no brainier, but what makes them unique is their use of WI-FI for calls and included WIFI coverage. If you live in a covered city, you could literally get away with $5 a month for great service provided you don't travel. The same applies to if you already have WIFI access. Check your coverage here. If you're going on vacation and can plan ahead, you can easily change the next months service to suit your needs.
The average Joe is going to want to go with something more versatile. For $25 a month, if you live in their WI-FI coverage area or already have WIFI access is going to be adequate for most uses. Republic Wireless $40 plan is far superior than others I compared to like Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, MetroPCS and StraightTalk, which for the equivalent service is about a $20 difference coming in at $60.
So what's the catch? Well there isn't one. The only downside is that you can't bring your own phone to Republic Wireless. You have to use theirs, which right now are Motos. Thankfully, they're highly rated and totally worth the switch.
Give it a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Who doesn't mind getting the best deal out there?
